Electronic discovery (eDiscovery) is the norm in today’s litigation. Understanding the basic legal and technical issues and knowing where to go for assistance with advanced issues is critical for litigators and parties.

The fundamentals of eDiscovery will be presented on Friday,  March 3, 2017 at the PBI Professional Development Conference Center in Pittsburgh. Presenters include the Hon. Joy Flowers Conti, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, Susan Ardisson, Esq., Joseph Decker, Esq., David G. Ries, Esq., Daniel Miller, Esq., David R. Cohen, Esq., Stuart C. Gaul, Jr., Esq., Thomas C. Gricks III, Esq. and Jerri A. Ryan, Esq., who will be discussing Spoliation of Evidence, E-Discovery Special Master Program, Admissibility of Electronically Stored Information, Professional Responsibility Considerations, eDiscovery Collection and the Evolution of Technology-Assisted Review.

This program has been approved by the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board for 3 hours of CLE credit in substantive law and 1 hour of ethics. Attendees will receive a copy of the eDiscovery (4th Edition) edited by David Ries, Esq.
