bit-x-bit is looking for a highly motivated digital forensics technician/analyst. The successful applicant will be someone who projects professionalism and gives meticulous attention to detail. The applicant should have experience collecting and analyzing electronic evidence and artifacts in a forensically sound manner. Forensic certifications such as CCE, ACE or EnCE and other technical certification (s) are desired. Experience with mobile device forensics is also highly desired.

Some of the skills required for this position include:

1. Experience with forensic imaging of computer hard drives, forensic data collection on-site and remotely from a variety of evidence sources including RAIDs and external devices, and the use of Forensic Tool Kit

2. Forensic extraction of data from smartphones and mobile phones, etc., including the use of tools such as Cellebrite and Oxygen

3. Experience conducting examinations and gathering evidence regarding computer use, recovery artifacts of computer activity, and recovery of deleted information

4. Basic knowledge of programming/ scripting

5. Experience drafting reports and presenting technical information clearly and concisely
