bit-x-bit is currently seeking talented Document Review Attorneys to join our team for assignment to future electronic document review projects on a contract basis. We offer a comfortable, professional and collegial work environment in downtown Pittsburgh. Applicants can expect to gain experience using their skills to analyze documents in Relativity, an industry leading review platform, with the potential to learn new tasks to support project leadership and goals.

Required

• At least 6 months previous experience in legal document review.
• Juris Doctor and admittance to the bar in any US jurisdiction, in good standing.
• Ability to work in downtown Pittsburgh (remote candidates will not be considered at this time).
• Availability to work 40 hours each week during the duration of a project, and general willingness to work overtime on occasion, if needed.
• Willingness to complete a background check and a pre-employment questionnaire.

Desired

• Experience in: performing quality control, drafting document summaries, privilege review, and privilege logging, foreign language review.
• Advanced understanding of the use of document review platforms, including constructing searches, filtering documents, creating reports and general problem solving.
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel.
• Prior review experience using Relativity.
• Document review project management experience.
• Experience working in other litigation or litigation support fields.

We offer a competitive hourly rate and time and a half is provided for overtime on approved projects. Flexibility in working hours is available, however team members are expected to be able to complete 40 hours of work during the work week (Monday - Friday) for the duration of a project, with the potential for extended/weekend hours or overtime on approved projects.
