John’s wide-ranging portfolio includes litigating sophisticated cases, utilizing complex electronic evidence and leading digital risk-mitigation initiatives, both in the U.S. and internationally.  Before joining bit-x-bit, John was Assistant Secretary and a senior legal advisor at the Pittsburgh headquarters of Covestro LLC and, prior, at Bayer Corporation, advancing his clients’ interests in highly regulated industries.

Brett Creasy directs the company’s overall operations in digital forensics, e-discovery, cybersecurity and incident response. An expert in digital forensics, Brett has conducted hundreds of forensic examinations for matters involving intellectual property theft, unauthorized use of computer systems, harassment, computer hacking, criminal and white collar crimes, and employment class action cases, as well as arbitration proceedings and internal investigations. He has been designated as an expert in state and federal courts throughout the country, and has testified in scores of cases on a variety of topics and matters, most notably in cases involving the theft of confidential and trade secret information.

Abigayle Needham (“Abbye”) is responsible for the overall management and delivery of e-discovery services for bit-x-bit’s clients from preservation, processing, and the analysis of electronic evidence to its review and production. Abbye works closely with clients to promote efficient, cost-saving workflows and to help clients gain better insights into their data using sophisticated analytics tools and analysis.

Abbye has over 13 years of experience managing the coordination and delivery of complex e-discovery services. Abbye is an industry leader in e-discovery best practices, project management and workflow development, Technology Assisted Review (TAR), and Continuous Active Learning (CAL).

Susan Ardisson is a Board Member and Founder of bit-x-bit. Susan previously served as CEO, working directly with clients and counsel on complex computer forensic investigations and e-discovery engagements in a wide variety of matters, from theft of intellectual property to government investigations. She was appointed as an E-Discovery Special Master by the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania in multiple cases and has served as an expert or a neutral in a number of other matters by court appointment or agreement of the parties.

Joseph Decker is a Board Member and the General Counsel of bit-x-bit.  Joe brings 30 years of experience as a business litigator and trial attorney. In addition to consulting directly with clients and counsel on a wide variety of computer forensics, incident response and e-discovery matters, Joe has developed strategies and guided the implementation of data analytics in e-discovery, as well as provided expert reports and testimony in support of its use.   He was an E-Discovery Special Master for the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and past co-chair of the ACBA’s Legal Technology and E-Discovery Committee.

She earned a B.A. in History & Philosophy of Science from the University of Pittsburgh.
Stacey brings with her several years of experience, including executive administrative support, project management, office management/administration, marketing and HR. Before joining bit-x-bit, Stacey worked for companies such as Viatris (f/k/a Mylan), the Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh, and Google.
